All of the world class Broll Mountain Vineyards wines are made from selected world class grapes grown at their vineyards located on Pennsylvania Gulch Road in Murphys, CA.  The vines are carefully pruned and grapevines thinned during the growing season, leaving only the very best for wine production.  The wine is  cellared in oak barrels for 18 months, and aged in bottles for at least six months prior to release.   

 

2004 Merlot - $26 SPECIAL 

"Aromas of cherries, vanilla, light leather and plums.  Leads to layers of cassis, blueberry, cherries with bittersweet chocolate.  A sweet/tart fruit mixture lingers with strong tannins."   

2004 Cabernet Sauvignon - $32

The nose is mineral based with tobacco, black fruit, light spice and vanilla.  The mouth is cherries, blackberries and licorice with hints of nutmeg and allspice.  The finish is peppery and spice.  Will age well through 2017.

2004 Syrah - $19 (SPECIAL Price)

"Nose is earthy, brambly attack with plums and black cherry.  A classic Syrah, meaty black fruit with olives and raspberries, cherries and rhubarb.  Tannins and dark chocolate finish.  Excellent paired with meats, cheeses and hearty food."

2005 Petite Sirah - $32

This wine is dark, dark red in color with aromas of cherry pie, spice cake and lite coffee.  The mouth is rich, bold and complex with silky tannins, stewed plums, pepper, olives, herbs and finishes with cherry.

Drink now through 2013     Alcohol 14.8%

2007 Roussanne - $19  (SOLD OUT)

Nose has aromas of tropical fruit, flowers, cinnamon and vanilla.  Mouth of citrus/tropical fruit, grapefruit, white pepper with creamy spicy finish. 

Drink now through 2011.  Alcohol 14.2%

2006 Petite Sirah - $32

Aromas of brambly black fruit, allspice, cinnamon and nutmeg with undertones of black pepper are in this wine.  It has a mouth of dense blackberry, blueberry, cherries, chewy licorice, vanilla and chocolate.  This wine has a good solid finish and is very yummy.

Drink now through 2014.   Alcohol 15%
